About me
Before joining NABI, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Research Centre in Mathematics of Decision (CEREMADE) at Paris-Dauphine University - PSL, France, where I worked with Dr. Emmanuel BACRY on deep learning for respiratory sleep disorder diagnosis, collaborating with the data science team of the ambitious French startup Apneal, focusing on smartphone-based sleep apnea diagnosis.
Prior to that, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Orange Innovation, a leading French telecommunication company. I was part of the BRAIN team and worked with Dr Alexis Bondu and Dr Yassine Nair-BenRekia on cross-learning across heterogeneous seasonal time series for roaming traffic demand forecasting.
I received my PhD in Machine Learning in 2021 from Telecom Paris (Institut Polytechnique de Paris), under the supervision of professors Houda Labiod and Stephan Clémençon. My PhD was financed by VEDECOM, the French Research and Training Institute dedicated to sustainable mobility, where I contributed to the SYNTONIE project led by Dr Julian Garbiso (formerly by Dr Bertrand Leroy).
Before this, I obtained a master’s in data science at Paris-Saclay University in 2017. In 2015, I graduated from the Tunisian National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology with a major in software engineering and Big Data management.
